We have been having a wonderful time at our Potluck Picnics, visiting with returning families and getting to know new families. The potlucks are the first of many opportunities for parents and students to build class bonds and start creating friendships that can last a lifetime. Parents have been bringing delicious dishes to share, including salads, fajitas, brownies, and more. We always love the picnics because they provide an excellent opportunity for us to share in our families’ food traditions and slow down and spend time together during the back-to-school rush.
We hope you’ve enjoyed the picnics as much as we have! There are plenty of opportunities for more socializing in the future, as well as a brand-new series of parent education mornings. To learn more, you can check out our online calendar (always the most up-to-date) or talk to your room parent.
Other ways including joining our new Facebook group (just for St. Paul’s families!) or attending a class or school playdate. If you have ideas for get-togethers for your class, make sure to reach out to your room parent. If you have ideas for school-wide fun, let us know in the comments!
